St. Louis Cardinals star pitcher Ernie Broglio, the pride of San Jose, California, just completed a sterling 21-9 and 2.75 season in 1960, the stats appearing on the back of this card. Unfortunately for the Chicago Cubs, this is what they thought they were getting for Brock.
