Joe Hague, the Pride of the University of Texas at Austin, signed this 1971 Topps baseball card for me shortly after the card was issued.  I have had the card since it was new in the pack.  The signature is in blue ballpoint pen.

Joe Clarence Hague played for the St. Louis Cardinals and Cincinnati Reds.  He died rather young back in 1994.  He was a first baseman / right fielder, and was traded for Bernie Carbo after a couple of decent years with the Redbirds.
