This is a vintage signature.

In blue ballpoint pen, John Bench of the Cincinnati Reds autographed this 1969 Topps card for me.

It was signed in 1970, a year in which the Redlegs won the National League Pennant and went to the World Series.

Catcher Johnny Bench, the Pride of Binger, Oklahoma, was the Rookie of the Year just a couple of seasons before his signed this card.  He is in the Baseball Hall of Fame.

This is card number 430 in the 1969 Topps set, The Sporting News National League All-Stars.

You don't see too many non-Sharpie Bench autographs on Topps cards anymore.
