This is an autographed 1971 Topps LUIS ALVARADO baseball card.

The late Puerto Rican star infielder signed this card in ballpoint pen for me in 1971.  He was so well regarded that he was traded for the great Hall of Fame shortstop Luis Aparicio in a deal between the Chicago White Sox and Boston Red Sox.

Luis Alvarado also played for the New York Mets, St. Louis Cardinals and Detroit Tigers.
