Luis Alvarado, the Pride of Puerto Rico, signed this 1971 Topps baseball card for me shortly after the card was issued.  I have had the card since it was new in the pack.  The signature is in blue ballpoint pen.

Luis played for the Boston Red Sox and Chicago White Sox.  A shortstop, he was traded for the great Hall of Fame superstar Luis Aparacio.  He was well-regarded as a young player and was a great guy.
