This is the retirement baseball card of Mickey Mantle.  I opened it new in the pack from Beacon Drugs on 13 Mile and Ryan Road in Warren, Michigan, in 1969, and have had it since then.   It is not one of those reprinted cards.

The New York Yankees legend retired in March of 1969, during Spring Training.  The "Brett Favre of Baseball" (or is Favre the "Mickey Mantle of Football") is featured on Topps card number 500.  Condition is as shown in the two scans below.
