This is a 1947 plastic vintage tube radio. It works well.
It was made by Chicago's Porto-Products, makers of the Porto-Baradio, the Bakelite mini-version of the Philco Radiobar.
This is the 'Smokerette" antique tube radio, in "mahogany brown" plastic Bakelite (not Catalin).
In one unit, here is a combination of a radio, ashtray on top, humidors and pipe rack.
It has three hairline cracks: one on the left side panel going up from the bottom as shown, one in the left top front corner as shown, and at the bottom of the dial lens cover as shown.
It has the removable ashtray on top, but does not have the 3 humidor lids. It works - sounds good. It is a nice collectible for the vintage tobacciana enthusiast as well as antique radio collector.
Shipping is tricky given its size. It will require a lot of bubble wrap and peanuts.
