This auction is for a

NILOAK PINK SQUIRREL PLANTER

This lovely planter from the 1930's is from Niloak - the bottom mark has been filled by glazing and is unreadable save a faint ILOA.  It measures just short of 6" tall at the peak of the tail and is in good condition and free of cracks or crazing.  However, there are several places where the glaze was incomplete or air bubbled during firing including the tip of the tail, nose and ear with roughness at the ear from being unprotected. The item shown in the picture is the item up for bid.
