TILLIE: A MENNONITE MAID

A fictional novel written to illustrate and in some ways criticize the Reformed Mennonite Herrites and other Pennsylvania Dutch groups.    The book was first published in 1904 and this copy was published in 1908 by Grosset & Dunlap, New York.

 

The book is in fair condition with soiling and wear to the outer cover (cloth on pressed paper board), complete loss to the edge of the top and bottom of the spine and some stains.  The pages are generally clean but there is a prior owner’s signature in the inside front cover.  Thank you for your interest.
