This rectangular hour meter can be used for tracking time on machinery such as boats, cars, trucks, tractors or any other device where time is used to determine oil change intervals, service requirements or where there is a need to record hours operated. Works on any AC or DC input voltage from 4 to 40 volts (4, 6, 8, 12, 24, 36 or 40 volts). Voltage source can be taken from alternator, switched battery supply voltage or Magneto with grounding wire.

Applications:

Great for chain saws, brush cutters, steamers, edgers, cultivators, pumps, generators, saws, pressure washers, turf rollers, sod cutters, snow blowers, scrubbers, lawn tractors, wood chippers, shredders, post hole borers, hedge trimmers, etc. In addition: autos, trucks, motorcycles, all-terrain vehicles, go-carts, jet skis, snowmobile, out board marine engines

• Water Tight - These meters are manufactured to be water tight.

 

The timer has a 6 digit display with the least significant digit being 1/10 hour (99999.9) and operates on in put voltages from 6 to 40 Volts DC. The hour meter timing mechanism contains a quartz oscillator which provides a high degree of accuracy.

It is designed to withstand vibration and shaking up to 8g and is rated to work between -10 degrees to 150 degrees Fahrenheit.

The hour meter fits in to a rectangular hole 15/16" x 1 7/16" and includes an adjustable retainer clip so that the meter can be mounted on material up to 7/16 inch thick. Meter depth behind the panel is 2 5/8 inches
