Color loss to about 5 percent of the front. Light to moderate rubbing to spine ends and board edges. Blue and gilt decoration of tiny flowers on cover, with one-quarter binding in dark blue and silver metallic lettering on spine in good condition.  "Last Essays of Elia" by Charles Lamb. Published by Henry Altemus. Dated 1895 on title page. Small name in fountain pen on front pastedown with date from 1933.
