THE GIVER

Considered a Goddess of Agriculture and associated with the act of plowing, Gefjon was the goddess of Gifts and her name meant "The Giver".

Her origin is controversial, sometimes considered a virgin (patron saint of unmarried girls who died) or as  giantess (which won the Nordic island Zeeland to make love with the king Gylfi), or as an aspect of Freyja in the sexual aspect and for having a gold or amber necklace.

Gefjon can be considered an intermediate between the Goddess Freyja and Frigg attributes, which provide power to all who call upon the means necessary for their survival.

She is the "Golden One" and her endless cornucopia guards the wealth of land resources.
