I have actually researched this for a while now.   *******UPDATE 2010:  I went to the antique store that I purchased this piece from and the owner told me that this is Angelica Kauffmann*******

This is by a famous artist Alois Hans Schram.  This plate has his name on it on the bottom corner and on the other corner it reads, but I cannot make it out entirely, "The Worship of Hero?  Not sure if speaking of Herod, Herodias, or someone else.  Anyone know?  This plate is with two handles, a dark beautiful teal green, scene is three women and a small boy with flowers.  11 3/4" x 7 1/2".  The back has a gold flower stamp that has a crown underneath it.  I cannot find who the maker is.  This plate is old and has some normal fading but, No chips or cracks.
