The C-21 "  Dragon" Assault Ship kit was released by Fantastic Plastic Models

in April 2011.  The complex 105-piece kit was designed in CAD by Scott

Lowther and cast by Masterpiece Models.  In 1:144, the finished model is 11

inches, or 27.9 cm, long.

ABOUT THE DESIGN:

The C-21 "Dragon" is a heavy transport and gunship used by military and

paramilitary entities both on Earth and in hostile alien environments.  A

four-engine VTOL, the C-21 is designed to operate in virtually any type of

arena, from brutal arctic tundra to deep tropical rainforest.  It carries a

massive arsenal of missiles, gatling-guns, rockets, incendiary weapons and

grenade launchers, and can also deploy large contingents of armored and

un-armored personnel.  Although relatively slow and difficult to maneuver,

the C-21's sheer firepower make it a formidable lead gunship for any large-

scale military assault.
