Beautiful piece of art pottery from Denmark-BLUEBIRD by L.HJORTH signed and numbered Z9 by artist. These figures would appear to be very rare. It is in excellent vintage condition. The figures are 2 1/4'' high x 2 1/4''wide.

L.HJORTH set up his pottery firm in Bornholm, an Island off the coast of Sweden in 1859.

The photos of the pieces really do not do the birds justice, the glaze is shiny and colors bright. It is truly mint condition. This ''COUPLE'' would make a beautiful gift to somebody or a great addition to any collection.
