Up for auction is one black & white photo that has been signed by deceased Baseball Hall of Famer Enos Slaughter & Marty Marion signed in blue sharpie. The photo is of Slaughter's "Mad Dash" running from first to home in the 8th inning of Game 7 on a single by Harry Walker in the 1946 World Series where he scored the winning run. Slaughter played in the Major Leagues 1938-1942 & 1946-1959 with the St Louis Cardinals, New York Yankees, Kansas City A's and Milwaukee Braves. Mr. Slaughter passed away in 2002. The photo is also signed Cardinals shortstop Marty Marion who was on deck and also in the photo. Mr Marion passed away in the last couple of weeks. Have you ever seen a unique item like this lately? I believe what I charge is more than fair. It's cost more than the postage you see on your envelope to mail your item. Please take into account that most of my items are shipped in a bubble envelope or photo mailer, if you won a signed card I put it in a top loader, I print your address on a label so that there is no problem with delivery, I use packing tape to secure your items...all of this costs money plus the postage it takes to mail your item.
