Grandmother Jang (Kim Young Ok) presides gently over the household. Eldest son Jae Do (Kang In Duk) and his traditional wife Min Sook (Kim Hae Suk) hit some hard times when Jae Do loses his job. Second son Jae Man (Lee Young Ha) and his wealthy wife Na Ra (Park Jung Soo) own a home shopping channel which employs both their US-educated son Suk Hyun (Ko Joo Won) and Jae Do's hardworking son Ki Woong (Jung Joon). Third daughter Jae Ok (Lee Kyung Jin) is a widow with an adopted daughter, Jong Nam (Kim Ah Joong), who begins a relationship with Suk Hyun. Na Ra however wants to set up Suk Hyun with her good friend's daughter (Kim Sung Eun).
