Antique Beer Stein Shooting Festival Weimar c.1927

Description: This beer stein was made in 1925 to commemorate 25th Thueringen Bundesschissen or all-German shooting festival. That was one of the most popular national events in Germany. The stein features a center medallion showin a medieval character with a musket leaning on a shield with Thueringen Coat-of-Arms. The lid is made in Jugenstil style and has "AA" initials engraved. Manufactured by Duemler and Breiden in Hoehr and has their printed mark on the bottom. No model number. The condition is excellent. It is 7" tall to the top of the thumblift, 0.5L capacity.
