Antique German Drinking Horn Beer Stein Pewter Lid 1870

Description: Presented is a very unusual drinking vessel created in late 1870s in Germany. It's a drinking horn - the kind that ancient Germans were using for their brew. It was created on top of the Historismus movement created aesthetics out of very old tradition. The horn has a pewter lid exactly the same the beer steins had - with a 3 ring open hinge common for late 1870s. There is a peter mark I was not able to identify. The horn is in excellent flawless condition, it is 10" long, approximately 1L capacity.
