| Description:
Fantastic German Bohemian glass beer stein with pewter lid. Hand-blown with applied handle and pontile mark. Manufactured in mid-1700s. Decorated with wheel-cut tulip decorations - the engravings are very subtle and at the same time elegant. The lid is pewter with a hollow ball for the thumblift, 5-ring closed-type hinge. There is a "linen" mark on the inside where the tang connects. The stein is in excellent flawless condition - a collector's dream. It is 8" tall to the top of the thumblift, about 1L capacity.
