Description:
Very interesting and mysterious German beer stein. Made of hand-blown crystal glass with stone-cut facetes and applied handle. Circa 1870s. Brass lid with silver-plate figurine for the thumblift. The figurine depicts a soldier with a sword. The inscription on the lid reads: "Agent Israel Hannover". I have no idea what it means and how is the stein connected to Judaica but somehow there is a connection.
The stein is in excellent condition. There are minor dings on the lid, but no damage or repairs. 6" tall, 0.5L capacity.
