Decorated with "Onion pattern" - the exclusive Meissen signature decoration style that was developed by copying early Chinese patterns. Unusual lid mounted with pewter mounts the way the beer steins were made. The mounts are original - the hinge is made exactly the way it was made for the beer steins in 1700s. Marked with Meissen porcelain mark from the Marcolini period of 1774 - 1814. Very good condition.
