Early German Classical Pewter Beer Stein/Pitcher Engraved dated 1832

Description: Presented is a German pouring beer stein/pitcher made of pewter in the first half 0f 19th century. The stein is a very classical beer vessel made in late Biedermeier period around 1830s Pure form and minimal decorations. Very nicely and skillfully engraved with floral design, original owner's name Georg Wagner and date 1832. Perfect condition, no damage, just small dings consistent with the age wear. The stein was polished by the previous owner - many pewter collectors prefer to polish their pewter to make them look like they were in the date manufactured. The stein shows a classical form of South Germany pewter. This type of a stein was manufactured for about 200 years more or less in the same shape. Please note this is not a copy or repro, this is a real beer vessel from the first half of the 19th century. I guarantee my description and dating. It is 10" tall, 1.5L capacity
