| Description:
This beautiful and unusual vase is made of solid cast bronze - in other words it is made as an art object, not utility vessel. Designed in exclusive Art Nouveau style with women's figures and fishes emerging from the sea and rough and unfinished top. Signed with "Garnier" - it is a signature of Jean Garnier (1853 - 1910), an important Art Nouveau sculptor who participated in French "Salon des Artistes" and is well known for his bronze sculptures. The vase is in excellent condition with good rich patina. Please note - the neck of the vase is not broken - it's an artistic concept, it was made this way intentionally. It is 8" tall and weight over 5 lbs.
