Antique MEISSEN FLORAL Plate Porcelain 19th C Hand Painted Flowers Gold Gilt #1

This is a gorgeous Meissen large plate/shallow bowl featuring an ornate high relief, hand painted floral design, highlighted in gold trim.

The plate features a garden of flowers, including a rose, pansies, a mum, sunflower, day lily and more. 

 

Just gorgeous. 

 

 

Approx. measurements are 11" in diameter and 1 5/8" deep, making it a  cross between a bowl and a plate.

 

Excellent condition with age appropriate wear to gold trim especially on the outside rim.  There is one rough place on the gold scroll design (can be felt) however it is from the making and nothing major. No chips, cracks or repairs. 

 

Marked with the blue crossed swords mark with pommels, under glazed, along with a painted I 45  and an incised 23. First quality as there are no hash marks through sword.

 Really a gorgeous Meissen plate.

I have two small plates listed in separate listings. Although very similar and look to be from the same line, they are all different. Even the two smaller ones, although same size, are different. Really gorgeous! Always happy to combine purchases to save on shipping.

Most of my pictures are taken with a magnifying lens giving me clear, close up photos. This tends to also magnify minor flaws on item which many times cannot be seen on actual item.

Due to this magnification (especially on small items and jewelry), photos may make items look larger than they actually are. ~Payments~
I now offer payment via credit cards using Square. If you would like to pay this way, let me know and I will send you a separate invoice via Square. The invoice will come from Chris's Collectibles, which is my legal business name.

~Shipping~

For larger items where the quote shown is for priority mail, the charge may seem very high due to size or weight. If you click on the "see details" link to right of shipping price, you will also be given a quote for parcel post shipping which in many case, is less than half the price of priority. I have shipped thousands of items via parcel post and have had no problem other than it maybe taking several days longer to arrive.

Items usually ship next business day after payment is received. Occasionally, though due to the time payment was received, handling time, etc., it may take an extra day, especially if payment is made late Thursday. In this case, it will probably be Monday before your purchase is mailed. I appreciate your patience.

Save shipping with multiple purchases..Always glad to combine purchases to save shipping. When purchasing two or more jewelry items, pay the listed shipping on the item with the highest shipping and all additional jewelry items ship free with the first.

North Carolina Buyers are required to pay 6.75% sales tax or send me a signed exemption certificate.

International: Presently I am not shipping internationally due to the high shipping charges and delivery times. Under certain circumstances, I will consider it on a case by case basis.

Returns are accepted, with buyer paying for return shipping costs. Purchase price minus original shipping charge and any charges paid for insurance will be refunded after item is received in the same condition as sent.

Items that offer free shipping are refunded the purchase price minus the original shipping and insurance fees. All shipping records are retained so that the cost to ship each item (including the insurance paid) can be determined. Thank you.
