This is a gorgeous antique Nippon vase featuring a beautiful hand painted scenic design of a man walking down a road,beside a cottage with Mt Fuji in the background.
Measuring a bit over 14 1/2" tall and 8 1/2" wide, the vase is in good vintage condition with age appropriate wear to gold especially on handles. There is several spider web like hairlines and a hairline? like down back as shown (see last 4 photos). No other cracks, chips or repairs.
Signed with the rising sun in front of Mt. Fuji... This mark has been attributed to Fujiyama Porcelain.
