Antique CHINESE SCHOLAR MAN Bronze Statue Cast Metal Oriental Vintage

This wonderful antique/vintage oriental (believed to be Chinese) statue features what looks to be a Chinese scholar holding a replaced wood staff in one hand.

Excellent detailing and casting.

Not sure if it is a cast base metal with a bronze like finish or the material is actual a bronze color.

Approx. measurements are 12 3/4" tall by 6" wide. 

He has some age appropriate wear and rubs to finish. There is also some roughness and weird molding on each side of shoulders down to hands. Not sure if this is something done in the making or if he has been repaired. 

Unsigned that I can find.

~Shipping~

For larger items where the quote shown is for priority mail, the charge may seem very high due to size or weight. If you click on the "see details" link to right of shipping price, you will also be given a quote for parcel post shipping which in many case, is less than half the price of priority. I have shipped thousands of items via parcel post and have had no problem other than it maybe taking several days longer to arrive.

Items usually ship next business day after payment is received. Occasionally, though due to the time payment was received, handling time, etc., it may take an extra day, especially if payment is made late Thursday. In this case, it will probably be Monday before your purchase is mailed. I appreciate your patience.

Save shipping with multiple purchases..Always glad to combine purchases to save shipping. When purchasing two or more jewelry items, pay the listed shipping on the item with the highest shipping and all additional jewelry items ship free with the first.

North Carolina Buyers are required to pay 6.75% sales tax or send me a signed exemption certificate.

International: Presently I am not shipping internationally due to the high shipping charges and delivery times. Under certain circumstances, I will consider it on a case by case basis.

Returns are accepted, with buyer paying for return shipping costs. Purchase price minus original shipping charge and any charges paid for insurance will be refunded after item is received in the same condition as sent.

Items that offer free shipping are refunded the purchase price minus the original shipping and insurance fees. All shipping records are retained so that the cost to ship each item (including the insurance paid) can be determined. Thank you.
