This is a wonderful antique/vintage school house ceiling light fixture and glass shade featuring an embossed rib like design in clear glass partially enameled in white.

Just wonderful!

The light fixture ( base and shade) measures approx. 10" tall while the glass shade itself measures 8 1/2" tall  and 8" in diameter. The opening that fits into the fixture measures 4" wide.

The glass shade is in excellent condition with minor wear indicative of age and use. A few minor surface scratches and some roughness to glass around the edge that fits into the fixture. No cracks or  chips (other than the roughness at top edge). The base ( or top actually) has some wear and spotting to paint indicative of age and use. The old electrically sockets are there but have not been tested. As with all lighting, they should be rewired or at the very least, tested by a licensed electrician for safety.

Really a wonderful School house lamp.
