It's powerful enough to run an automatic pool cleaner and the unique "top mount" pump design makes it quieter and more effective. The compact design uses less ground space than platform-style pumps and it's salt-water-safe. It has a flow rate of 36-gpm and a filter surface area of 1.25-feet. Its tank capacity is 6.25-gallons and sand capacity is 38-pounds. The Universal 1/3 HP Sand Filtration System is for pools up to 15,000-gallons. It's easy to assemble and connect.
