Overview:

Elegant vintage Art Nouveau era (circa 1900s to 1910s) butterfly cocktail ring, crafted in 14 karat yellow gold. 

Natural cabochon cut opal measures 13.5mm x 6.5mm (estimated at 2.50 carats), accented with an estimated 0.06 carats of old mine cut diamonds (estimated at I color and I1 clarity). The opal is in excellent condition and free of cracks or chips. The opal displays a vivid color matrix from green to yellow, orange, turquoise and purple.

Finely detailed embossed butterfly in 14 karat white gold on both sides of the shank. 

The ring is in excellent condition.
