Overview: Antique Victorian era fob (circa 1880s to 1900s), crafted in 10 karat rose gold.
A carnelian stone is carved with an intaglio of a winged angel, perched above a shield crest with carved bird motifs. The carnelian is in excellent condition and free of cracks or chips. The intaglio tells a story. Functional and ornate in design, the fob can still be used today for imprinting in sealing wax.
The base of the fob features an elaborate grape leaf design that honors nature, keeping in theme with the intaglio. The fob is ideal worn as a pendant on a chain or attached to a charm bracelet.
The fob is in excellent original condition.
