Overview:

Elegant Art Deco era (circa 1920s to 1930s) engagement or right hand ring, crafted in 950 platinum. 

One oval shaped mixed cut natural sapphire measures 9mm x 8mm x 4.9mm and is estimated at 3.10 carats. The sapphire is dark blue in color and moderately included. Color and inclusions are typical of sapphires from Ceylon (Sri Lanka). There is no evidence of any color treatments to the stone. Two 2.25mm triangle shape rubies total an estimated 0.14 carats (dark red, lightly included, good cuts). Thirty six single cut round diamonds total an estimated 0.72 carats (F-G color/VS1 clarity). The sapphire is bezel set in the center and surrounded by channel set rubies and bead set diamonds.

The ring comes with an appraisal certificate - $7,500.
