This book is a work of art, printed on India tweed weave paper, and bound in natural buckram cloth by Roswell Book binding. It contains 15 photo reproductions of the houses Steinbeck lived in, taken by Richard Mayer. There are illustrations by Wayne Garcia around each page number and a larger one of a tree. Photo of limited edition number and authors signature. It is also signed on the dedication page by Maury Dunbar. This book shows the somewhat lost art of fine book printing, binding, and design. The book is a study of John Steinbeck and how he viewed his homes and the Monterey peninsula.
