1942 Big Band Chart "ST. LOUIS BLUES" Rare Military Issue...12 Parts
This came from an estate of a band and orchestra director from the mid-west.
In this lot I found some of his first band charts he had collected from when he was in the army...he also had a band overseas during this time.
Because of of the shortage of paper during the war...the publishers of these band arrangements were published on the backs of military maps with a small format...very rare charts to find. The sheet that was on the outside of each chart is a little soiled from being in his army backpack. This charts were made for military use only and are marked as such.
I have 8 of these band charts...great pieces to add to your collection.
I will be happy to combine charts for shipping. I can fit up to 6 band charts in one flat rate envelope.
No funny smells as this was always keep in a cool dry place.
This chart was edited by EDDY DURHAM...words and music by W.C. HANDY...as played by GLENN MILLER.
Here are the parts for this chart (if there is a number behind the part that is becuase there is more than one piece of sheet music for that part):

1st SAX
2nd SAX
3rd SAX
