The plug-in features a huge selection of parameters (over 30 more than the original Virus) allowing it to excel in building dense, layered textures with the distinctive Virus "virtual analog" sound. An "Easy" page provides immediate access to the most important and frequently used parameters. Although over 1,000 sounds are available right out of the box, Virus Indigo enables the user to fully explore any creative ideas by allowing up to 8 multi-timbral synthesizers on a single DSP. Creativity is further enhanced by the ability to manipulate numerous oscillators, filters, envelopes, LFOs, amplifiers and effects controls. Additionally, the instrument is capable of rendering entire compositions with up to 160 voices at the appropriate sample rates. The plug-in uses the same hardware intelligent smoothing algorithms to eliminate unwanted artifacts while editing, making it a great choice for both live and studio applications. Users can also page through different views of the plug-in for quick and easy patch editing with all parameters fully automatable and displaying very smooth automation resolution.
