The high-density ported cabinet houses a 6.5" anodized aluminum woofer and a 1" soft fabric neodymium tweeter with a built in heat sink to provide clear, accurate audio with low distortion and minimized power compression. The speaker components are powered by a lightweight and efficient Class-D amplifier, which provides an output power of 180W. The rear of the cabinet features both analog and digital inputs, allowing you to use the monitor with virtually any audio system you encounter. XLR and TRS analog inputs are provided, as well as a digital XLR AES/EBU port, a S/PDIF RCA input, and a S/PDIF RCA thru connector. The digital inputs allow you to support high-resolution audio up to 24-bit/192kHz. The monitor also includes extensive DSP features. The onboard DSP engine controls a 4th-order digital crossover, and also provides accurate imaging by compensating for phase differences between the drivers. Rear panel switches allow you to customize the monitor for your workspace by adjusting high and low frequency roll-offs, EQ settings, and physical placement settings. Compact Design Ideal for smaller professional and home studios, the Studiophile DSM1 is right at home on a desktop as part of a DAW. High-Density Cabinet The high-density cabinet structure and custom dual-sided flared ports provide excellent damping, reduced interference, and an extended bass response. Pro-Level Drivers The 6.5" anodized aluminum woofer and 1" soft fabric neodymium tweeter provide a wide frequency response with low distortion and minimized power compression. Efficient Amplification The highly-efficient Class-D amplifier provides 100W of power to the woofer and 80W to the tweeter, for a combined power output of 180W. Analog and Digital Inputs The DSM1 features XLR and TRS analog inputs, as well as AES/EBU and S/PDIF digital inputs, capable of supporting high-res audio up to 24-bit/192kHz. A S/PDIF thru jack is also provided.
