It has the ability to "glue" a mix while subtly enhancing the "depth". HEAT (Harmonically Enhanced Algorithm Technology) is not a plug-in in the usual sense of the word. When installed it is automatically available on every track in the mix window and only needs to be activated or bypassed. It also provides the power to tweak its Drive and Tone controls globally to get the sound required, whether that means something richer, brighter, smoother, or livelier. For the sound designer or sound effects editor, adding a little HEAT to tracks can make any sterile-sounding recording or canned effect sound punchier and livelier.
