Included is a dedicated PCI Express x8 controller card, which allows you to configure the array as a RAID 0, 3, RAID 5, or RAID 6.   Each of the 8 enterprise-class drives in the array is a high-performance 7200rpm 3.5" SATA disk. When configured as a RAID 3 or 5, the PRO DQ xc is capable of sustained transfer rates of up to 840MB/sec.
