The 104LN has a differential input which helps to eliminate noise picked up by the input cable. It accepts a single composite video input and provides four identical buffered outputs with gain and equalization controls on the front panel. The gain and EQ controls, which compensate for signal losses inherent in long cable runs, are recessed and accessible by screwdriver. The gain control adjusts the overall signal level, and the EQ control boosts the upper frequencies most susceptible to loss. As the machine has a differential input and can drive long cables, it can be located anywhere in the distribution chain. Bandwidth of well over 400MHz ensures that the 104LN remains transparent even in the most critical applications. The machine is fully DC coupled, ensuring the best linearity and signal flatness. A 12V power supply is provided, but the optional VA-50P can power up to six Kramer devices requiring 12VDC. The 104LN is part of the Kramer TOOLS family of compact, high quality, and cost effective solutions for a variety of applications.
