A conference table is often a central element of many AV presentation systems. The challenge facing system designers is to provide inputs in tabletops for computer video, audio, network, and power in the most unobtrusive fashion possible. Multiple connecting cables often need to be managed above and beneath table surfaces. The Power Tower Plus is a cylindrical shaped pull-up system constructed of black anodized aluminum and rugged black ABS plastic. It is designed to provide maximum connectivity in the smallest possible footprint, and to be cost-effective and very simple to install. Installation requires only a 4 inch (102 mm) circle saw and a table with maximum thickness of 2.25 inches (57mm). Once installed, simply press the rocking cover, pull up the assembly to expose the connection panel, connect your cable(s), and push the assembly back down so that it is out of the way. The rocking cover will tilt to provide an exit path for the connected cables. The assembly provides one input socket of each: AC power, 15-pin HD female, 3.5mm stereo audio female, RJ-45 female, USB A female. On the underside are 3 meter (10 ft) long cables corresponding to each input as follows: AC plug, 15-pin HD male, 3.5mm stereo male, RJ-45 male, and USB A male.
