It is designed to accept one set of inputs, provide correct buffering and isolation, and distribute the signal to two identical outputs. Bandwidth exceeding 400MHz ensures transparent performance, and allows the VM-2N to be used for specialized high-resolution analog signals, and even some digital signals. Video output signals are DC coupled, and the dual-RCA audio section can easily be adapted for a balanced mono signal as the audio performance and levels are appropriate for use in the most demanding applications.
