Each unit uses 5-BNC connectors for each output, however, the VP-123 uses 5-BNC inputs while the KR-VP123V uses a "VGA/XGA" HD15 connector. Each model has three high bandwidth analog video channels, Red, Green and Blue, that can be operated independently allowing them to be used for other video signal formats such as composite, Y/C and component (a breakout cable would be required for the KR-VP123V to input the desired signal format). Use as a 1x3 Composite DA, 1x3 YC DA and a 1x3 Component DA, or as three 1x3 Composite DAs. The remaining two channels are for H Sync and V Sync. These remaining two channels are digital/logic channels that include special circuitry for sync reconstruction and shaping.
