The unit features 6 standard 9-Pin D-Sub female inputs which are selectable to a single output. This switcher is very useful for Non-linear edit studios where a variety of VTRs must be controlled by the single control port of the system. Since the OMX-PSW6RS is passive, it may also be used as an assignment switcher, where a single RS422 signal can be fed to 6 destination VTRs.
