Normal voltage differences between system grounding points causes small currents to flow through video cables allowing a visible hum bar. A high impedance choke in the ground path of each channel effectively removes the hum from the cable. The VHE-14-RM is housed in a 2U rack mount enclosure. All channels are separate and isolated from each other as well as the enclosure. This allows each channel to work as an independent unit. A frequency response of 150 MHz makes this model suitable for high-definition systems. The unit is passive, removing hum without any external power source.
