to reduce flexing and help stabilize the push rod and rocker arm,
Pioneer Performance Guide Plates are formed from high grade steel, heat
treated to a Rockwell C-57 and black oxide coated for corrosion
protection.

Note: When using Push Rod Guide Plates with replacement screw in Rocker Studs, it is necessary to machine the stud boss t insure proper fit of both Rocker Stud and Guide Plate. Also, special hardened Push Rods are recommended for complete installation.
