Handling
Cost - Please understand I own a business with the goal of making a
profit in order to stay in business to provide services to my customers
now and in the future. I would also love to count you as one of my
customers and as a good business manager I have to include in the list
of operating expenses those expenses incurred in shipping an item to a
customer vs. the customer picking-up the item. These added expenses
include, but are not limited to multiple container purchasers( read
different sizes of boxes) and packaging material such as tape and
packing peanuts. So, I have two choices. I can absord the extra cost of
shipping and make less of a profit thereby jeapardizing my dream to
stay self-employed in business living
the American dream by helping people find what they're looking for with
a good value and a good price. I could also simply raise the minimum's
of my auctions by that amount, but then it would be a hidden
cost that you would not be aware of paying which wuld not be honest of
me to keep hidden from you. I stive for "great value" and "great
price". With all other things being equal better service always
costs more. So, from this point on (12/15/11) I wil be adding $1 whole
dollar for Handlling Costs on to your domestic purchases and $2.00 on
