BALLADS & BLUEGRASS / FOLK SONG FESTIVAL - Walter Forbes
RCA / BMG Special Products
Condition: New
Price:  $14.99
Description:
This is a compilation of the two albums Walter did for RCA back in the the early 1960s. He was the front man for a group called THE LONESOME TRAVELERS that included Bob Johnson and the legendary (although unrecognizable in the photo above) flat-picking guitarist Norman Blake. Walter sings the lead and picks banjo, and much of the background is provided by the "A-Team", the group of top Nashville studio aces responsible for almost all of the hit songs to come out of Music City in the 60s.
