I am pleased to offer for sale this splendid set of 4 Victorian Eastlake Walnut Dining Room / Game Table Chairs circa 1880's.Each of the chairs measures a total height from the floor to the top of the back of 34 1/2 inches, seat depth of 16 inches, seat height of 17 inches, seat width of 17 inches and each chair weighs approximately 12 lbs. The crest-rails on the chairs offers applied carvings and incised carvings so typical of the Eastlake period of design. These chairs have vintage green velvet type fabric covering with matching gimp trim, the fabric is wonderful vintage condition with no holes, tears or rips but does have some light soils on the seats of one or two of the chairs.One chair has been re-enforced at the back by the seat and this only shows at a small area at the seat (see close-up picture) this was most likely done some time ago when the chairs were recovered with this fabric. These chairs offer lovely elegance and style that can be enjoyed for many more years to come.
