Being offered for sale is this fantastic Classic Southern Solid Walnut Empire Chest with Full Turned Columns circa 1840.This beautiful 19th century Empire chest features gorgeous solid walnut, the original wood pulls, early hand-cut dove-tail ends on the drawers and powerful turned full Columns flank the drawers with four substantial turned knob feet.
This chest measures 44 3/4 inches in height from the floor to the top of the chest, 43 1/2 inches wide and 21 3/4 inches deep and weighs approximately 110 lbs.
This early solid walnut chest is tight and solid and all the locks are intact on this chest but we do not have the key. This Period Southern Empire chest offers a tremendous amount of storage possibilities with its four large drawers and would make a wonderful addition to any bedroom of your home.
