    ~Victorian Walnut Marble Top Dresser with Carved Pulls and Glove Boxes c1875~

      I am pleased to offer for sale this wonderful Victorian Walnut Marble Top Dresser with lovely carved pulls and glove boxes circa 1875.  This lovely dresser measures a total height to the top of the pediment on the mirror of 74 inches , height to the top of the marble measures 37 inches, the dresser width measures 38  inches, dresser depth measures 19 1/4 inches, and this piece weighs approximately 140 lbs total. This dresser does dis-assemble into 5 separate pieces for easier handling during shipping and moving. 

   We believe the mirror to be a vintage replacement and is in wonderful condition and it measures 23 inches high by 13 inches wide and is in a rich walnut frame with a carved crest at the top. The mirror attaches to the beautifully carved mirror supports with turned finials on each side,and the lift top gloves boxes are attached to the supports and rest nicely on the marble base.The mirror does pivot front to back allowing you to adjust the angle.The beveled edge white and grey marble on the base is also original and is in wonderful antique condition with normal character and age marks appropriate for marble of its age. (there are a few rim chips on the underside of the marble ...not very noticeable unless close scrutiny)The dresser base offers four storage drawers each having the oval race-track molding intact on the drawer fronts, fancy carved walnut pulls and period dovetail ends, all the locks are intact on the drawers but we do not have they key.

   Just a very sturdy and nicely made Victorian Walnut Marble Top dresser that would make a great addition to a Victorian bedroom.
